Challenge Plate Competition at Newbury
This is an annual competition between nine camera clubs from the South of England, incuding Beaulieu, and it alternates between prints and slides. This year's competition is for slides, with each club submitting six for consideration. The club with the most points overall will be the winner. There is also a trophy for the "best" slide of the evening. The judge is tba.

Presentation of SPF Annual Slide Exhibition
This evening, we will be showing the panels of six slides submitted by the clubs in the Southern Federation for the annual slide exhibition, including that of Beaulieu Camera Group. It is always interesting to see what other clubs are producing and compare their work to ours.

SFP League Match - 3rd Round
Beaulieu Camera Group is the host tis evening with Southampton Camera Club and Guernsey visiting us for this, the last round of this year's league. The judge will be Glyn Edmunds of Chichester Camera Club and Chairman of the Southampton International Exhibition of Photography.

Picture Mounts and Camera Skills
This evening, some of our more advanced members will be demonstrating how to mount your prints and explaining various camera skills, such as depth of field, exposure and any other subjects members may wish to raise. Bring along your cameras and any pictures you wish to have advice on.

"Action - Formula One" - lecture by Don Coles
We are very pleased that Don, one of our members, is giving his talk this evening. Don has some fantastic photographs and stories of life in the pit lanes during the 70's and 80's, one of the most challenging periods of Fomula One racing.

Evening Out
Depending on the weather on the night, we will either be having a social evening in a pub (venue to be announced nearer the time) or a barbeque in the forest (again, venue to be announced). A chance to chat to your fellow members over a pint or a hot dog!

In House Judging
Your chance to become a judge for the evening!
An informal evening during which members will judge images taken from photographic magazines and give them marks. It will be very interesting to see the variation in comments and marks given and should show that the judge's job is not an easy one.

Studio Evening - "Indoors and Outdoors"
Bring your cameras for an evening of taking portraits and still life images.
We will have various lighting set-ups inside the school and, weather permitting, will learn how to take better pictures using available light. We intend to have some models available.

Summer Walk
This evening, one of our members will be leading a walk at a venue to be announced nearer the time. Bring your cameras and tripods along for a stroll, a bit of chat and hopefully some good picture taking.

Digital Evening - "Teach Me That"
Tony and Ian will be leading this evening using Photoshop to demonstrate various techniques to manipulate your images. Members will be able to request particular topics they wish advice on nearer the time and can provide images to be worked on.

Beaulieu Village Fete
Beaulieu Camera Group will again be showing a selection of our prints in one of the marquees at the annual village fete.

Beaulieu Camera Group Annual Exhibition
This will be our 11th annual exhibition, and will be a showcase of prints representing all members of the group. The exhibition will be held in the hall adjacent to the main building.

This is the final print competition of the year. We are delighted to welcome Donald from Bournemouth Photographic Society to judge our work this evening.

This evening, Kevan will be showing his wonderful images of the New Forest, from the time when he first started taking photographs to the present. This will be a very informative talk and a chance to see some stunning pictures.

Set Subject Competition - "Things Maritime" - Judge John May
This evening, John, from Winchester Photographic Society and a well known judge at Beaulieu, will be awarding seals for those images he feels most worthy in representing the set subject title "Things Maritime".

Tony's Tutorial Evening
This evening, Tony will be demonstrating how to make a DVD slide show, create photo albums using the internet and how to upload images to the web. A great evening to learn some new skills.

Print and Slide of the Year Competition - Judge Martin Western
This is the evening when all the seal winners from this years' competitions will be judged. Martin is from Bournemouth Photographic Society and will be selecting a winner and runner-up in each category.

"Landscape in View" - lecture by Ian McGowan
We are very excited to have Ian visit Beaulieu this evening. Ian is a wonderful landscape photographer from Chichester. He has travelled around the world collecting his stunning images and this will be a great way to end the year.

Annual General Meeting and Christmas Party
The Annual General Meeting will be followed by our tradititional American supper buffet and social gathering, with wine supplied by the committee.
