Following the Inauguration of this competition in 2021 to celebrate the photographic life and work of Alan Cooke, a much loved member of Beaulieu Camera Group, this will be the 4th year it has been held.

The theme this year will be "Black and White" and members are invited to submit up to three PDI images.

Black and white photography is the art of using different tones of gray, ranging from white to dark, to create compelling images. It removes any distraction of color and helps the viewer focus on other aspects of the photo, such as the subject, the textures, shapes and patterns, and the composition.
